Lord hear us …………….………………………Lord graciously hear us

Lord hear us …………….………………………Lord graciously hear us

Reader:          For the world; may God open a door of faith to peoples of all nations and may they know He comes to dwell among them creating a new heaven and a new earth:

Lord hear us …………….………………………Lord graciously hear us

Reader:          For Christians in the Holy Land; may they know the support of the people of God throughout the world as they bear witness to Christ in the place where the Word was made flesh.

Lord hear us …………….………………………Lord graciously hear us

Also, all the faithful departed, especially Agnes Delaney, Margaret Maureen Parker, Isobel Harkin, and Connie Sharples who have died recently, may they be raised up on the last day.

Lord hear us …………….………………………Lord graciously hear us

Reader:          Let us pray for our own private intentions; (pause).   In this month of May we ask Mary, our Mother, to join her prayers to ours: Hail Mary …

Priest:             God Our Father, hear these petitions which your people place before you on this day. Help us to respond faithfully to your Son’s command to love one another.  We make all our prayers through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
